Gentle
Tommy Karr is twenty-five, a veteran with scarred lungs, tremors in his hands, and hours he cannot account for. His uncle’s letters were the only thing that reached him at a border that had forgotten the war ended eight years ago, until they stopped. Discharged on health grounds, Tommy comes to Port Ashraven to find out why. The city he arrives in calls the Eastern Pact its protectors, the enemy he spent years fighting.
He finds work serving tables, until he attacks an Eastern customer for insulting Seraphine, a fellow server he barely knows. Penniless, he relies on her for a foothold in a city he does not understand. But Seraphine has her own dangers, and Tommy, with nowhere else to go, cannot afford to ask what they are. With every step he sinks deeper into the city, while what the war left in his body and mind tightens its grip.

Remember the Ashmarked
Book I of the Port Ashraven Saga
Eight years after the Expanse War ended, Port Ashraven is a city still counting its dead. The Eastern Pact had arrived first, a foreign army that walked into the city without opposition and called themselves protectors. Alongside the local army, they fought against the Dravoskan Directorate, who came later and called themselves liberators. Officially, both are now gone.
Ray Cutter arrived in Port Ashraven two weeks ago under a borrowed name. He was taken young, made into a Directorate soldier, and spent years fighting against his own country. Now he seeks to atone for his past by serving the city, while the damage the war left behind moves through him. Penny Autumn has always wanted to be a detective. Her father’s money made it happen, and she has not thought past that. They are handed the cases nobody wants, the kind of dead that don’t make the papers. What they find will pull them into the machinery underneath Port Ashraven, and into the wreckage of their own histories.
Duncan Graves is a decorated war hero appointed to root out Directorate infiltration before it takes hold, a role was designed to look like the city was paying attention. But when his investigation leads him toward a rogue Pact nobleman running weapons, the city’s institutions close ranks against him.
Ravenu Ravlen is an Eastern Pact agent, a translator turned seductress by duty, her fiancé waiting at home the only thing she has not given to her King. Valeska Nebel is a Directorate operative, born in Port Ashraven, raised unwanted by it, now hunting Pact agents through its streets.
Five people bound to choices they cannot take back. Around them, Port Ashraven braces for another war.

Mantis
Ravenu Ravlen is one of many agents the Pact has deployed to Port Ashraven. Under the name Celine Cassell, she works a cover job as a secretary, analyzing intercepted communications between the Republic’s corporations and the Directorate—the Pact’s oldest enemy.
But as pressure builds and manpower thins, Ravenu is pushed into fieldwork, assigned to a businessman the Pact wants watched. When progress stalls, her handlers make it clear: other methods are required. Desperate to leave the city and reunite with her fiancé, Ravenu must decide how far she’s willing to go. For the mission, for her oath to her king, and for the person she still hopes to be.

Legend
Fiach Threeborn is a young detective with a wife, a child on the way, and a reputation for doing everything by the book. An interrogation turns into an ambush, and his partner and mentor, Hank, is killed. Blaming himself for hesitating, and terrified his son might grow up an orphan like he did, Fiach quits the force.
But someone brings him proof the ambush was staged, along with a recruitment offer. Rick Lefer’s Unyielding unit, known for getting results and not waiting for warrants, wants Fiach to be part of their team. Furious they would use Hank’s death to pull him in, and convinced that men like Lefer are no different from the criminals they hunt, he signs on to destroy them. But the deeper he goes, the harder it gets to find a way back out.
